SABRN Defence & Space Priorities

SABRN Defence & Space was created for our soldiers, sailors, aviators, marines, and astronauts. SABRN Defence & Space objectives are to align to several truths regarding healthcare provision (based on USSOCOM truths).

  • Our people are our most important resource.
  • Quality of healthcare needs to be better.
  • Our people cannot be mass produced.
  • Competency cannot be created after emergencies occur.

On this basis, the priority for SABRN Defence & Space is modernise healthcare delivery to our service personnel, during war and peace.

This will minimise morbidity and maximise survival of our soldiers, sailors, aviators, marines and astronauts.

SABRN is developing expeditionary medical and surgical LifePods that collectively function as de-centralised geographically unconstrained mini-mobile field hospitals.

SABRN’s expeditionary hospitals will bridge the anticipated capability gap between traditional combat health support structures and the patients.

SABRN’s expeditionary hospitals will be applicable during war-time and peace-time, and for defence personnel and civilians.

They can rapidly integrate into the host nation’s military capability and will enable deployment of advanced medical and surgical capability as far forward as possible to the combat casualty.

With the ‘just-in-time’ and ‘just-in-case’ trained frontline healthcare workers supported by healthcare specialists via remote telementoring, significantly greater numbers of combat casualties will be saved.
