SABRN Tech’s Participation in the USSOCOM-NORSOCOM Arctic Warrior Technical Challenge 25-1

The Arctic Warrior Technical Experimentation (TE) 25-1 was a bilateral event hosted by USSOCOM, NORSOCOM, and the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment (FFI), that took place from January 12–17, 2025, at Camp Rødsmoen, Norway. This technical experimentation aimed to assess emerging technologies suited for Arctic warfare, focusing on cold weather operations, prolonged darkness, and extreme environmental conditions. The event brought together industry, academia, and military experts from nine allied nations, including Australia, Canada, and the UK, to test innovations that could enhance Special Operations Forces (SOF) capabilities

SABRN Tech was invited to TE25-1 to present its Subzero-PC-LifePods, an advanced, single-patient evacuation system designed for extreme cold environments. These LifePods incorporated thermal insulation, a radioactive isotope heating system (developed by entX), and onboard power to stabilize casualties during evacuation from subzero environments. This invitation represented a significant milestone, offering SABRN direct engagement with USSOCOM and NORSOCOM operators, engineers, and acquisition leaders. The event provided valuable feedback on the LifePods’ performance under Arctic conditions, supporting potential future defense applications. Participation in TE25-1 strengthened SABRN’s position as an innovator in next-generation medical evacuation solutions for military and humanitarian operations.
